Minke Whale Killed by Iceland Whalers

Iceland whalers have killed the first minke whale in 14 years and, as a result, are now facing a possible trade embargo from the United States. Their actions are said to be part of a 'scientific program' to study the effects the minke whales are having on the populations of fish in the region.
