Chickadees Use Complex Calls to Warn of Predators

Researcher Chris Templeton of the University of Washington has revealed that black-capped chickadees use a complex set of vocalizations to warn of nearby predators. Templeton has found that the chickadees' calls vary based on the degree of danger a predator poses.
