Stranded Melon-Headed Whales Rescued

A pod of nine melon-headed whales (Peponocephala electra) were recently stranded on Sal island (an island in Cape Verde, an archipelago located about 500km off the coast of West Africa). A group of local residents, developers, and conservationists were able to save seven of the nine stranded whales.
