New World monkeys are a group of primates that are native to Central and South America. New World monkeys are characterized by having a flat nose (which differentiates them from Old World monkeys whose nose points forward). The group includes marmosets, tamarins, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, night monkeys, owl monkeys, titis, sakis, uakaris, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, woolly spider monkeys, and woolly monkeys.
