Blue Whales Synchronize Pitch When Singing

Researchers studying the calls of blue whales (Balaenoptera musculus) have failed to find any differences in the frequency of the calls made by different individuals. Although different call patterns have been observed, it seems that the whales have the ability to synchronize the frequency of their calls.
