Ancient Bird Brain Reveals Ability for Flight

Dr Angela Milner of London's Natural History Museum used a specialized X-ray technique to take a peak at the inner workings of a fossilized skull of an Archaeopteryx, the earliest known bird. Her research revealed similar structures between the ancient bird's brain and present day birds, hinting that Archaeopteryx had the ability to fly.
