It turns out that birds aren't such 'bird brains' after all. The BBC reports that scientists who have been studying the intellectual powers of birds for over a decade have concluded that birds are capable of complex tasks that rival the abilities of many mammals. One of their experiments even showed that birds were able to distinguish between paintings by Picasso and Monet.
