River Dolphins Battle Extinction

WWF experts attribute the drastic decline in Asia's river dolphin populations to the deleterious effects of water pollution, dams, and entanglement in fishing nets. Since these dolphins play a key role in the ecosystems they live in, their decline has serious conservation implications and ecological consequences.
