Know Your Animal Groups
The Know Your Animal Groups newsletter explores facts about the six basic groups of animals—amphibians, birds, fishes, invertebrates, mammals and reptiles. In a series of seven email lessons, you'll learn about the natural history, evolution and adaptations of these animal groups. You'll gain a better understanding of the traits and habits that makes each group unique.

Instead, an understanding of the main groups of animals provides a good foundation for further learning and introduces you to the basic characteristics of virtually every animal on the planet.
