Cassowaries and Emus - Order Casuariiformes

Cassowaries and emus (Order Casuariiformes) form a group of large, flightless birds that inhabit Australia and New Guinea. Cassowaries and emus have stnted wings. Their feathers, since not used for flight, have developed into hairlike plumage.
