As many of you may know, the Readers' Wildlife Photo Gallery is one way you can share your wildlife photographs with other readers at this site. But now there's another way for you to get your photos out there! I've created the Nature-Notes Flickr Group where you can share your work on a regular basis.
The steps below outline what you need to do to get started and share your images.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 15 minutes
Here's How:
- If you do not already have a Flickr account, you need to sign up for a new account. To do so, follow the instructions at the Flickr homepage. If you already have an account, you can skip this step.
- After you have a Flickr account, sign into it.
- Go to the Nature Notes group homepage: http://www.flickr.com/groups/nature-notes/
- Click the Join this Group? link, located in the right column of the page.
- Confirm that you would like to join the group by clicking the Join this Group button. Now your ready to start sharing your photos.
- Upload your photos. You can do so by logging into your account and then clicking the drop-down triangle next to the You link located in the header area of your Flickr homepage.
- Select Upload Photos from the options. The Upload Photos to Flickr page displays. Follow the onscreen instructions to upload your photos to your Flickr account.
- Once you have uploaded your photos, access the individual photo and click on the Send to Group button that is located just above your photo. Select Nature Notes from the list of groups.
- Click OK to confirm the addition of the photo to the group.
Tips:
- If you would like to submit your photos to the Readers' Wildlife Photo Gallery don't worry, you still can! For more information about how to do so, see How To Submit Your Photos to the Reader's Wildife Photo Gallery.
